Editorial Overview

Simple Image Tools for Everyday Work

Built for photographers, marketing teams, front-end developers, and content designers.

Image Conversion

Seamless Multi-Format Transcoding

Switch between PNG, JPG and WebP in seconds. Each file is decoded natively and re-encoded with precise quality control — lossless PNG for designers, lightweight WebP for developers, universal JPG for everyone else.

Image Compression

Lossless vs. Smart Perceptual Reduction

Large payloads slow down pages and inflate cloud bandwidth. Our smart compressor tries multiple encoders per image and keeps the smallest result, removing redundant data without visible damage.

Up to 80% file reduction

Image Resizing

High-Fidelity Multi-Step Resampling

Downscaling large digital camera files requires careful resampling to prevent jagged edges. PixelTools reduces images in progressive high-quality passes, producing razor-sharp results for social banners and web thumbnails.

Optimization

Core Web Vitals Readiness

Google ranks pages on real-user loading metrics. Heavy hero images are the most common cause of a slow Largest Contentful Paint (LCP). Converting to WebP and right-sizing images is the quickest win available.

Help & Clarification

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about processing capabilities, safety, and device support.

What image formats are supported?

You can open JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF and BMP images, and export to JPG, PNG or WebP. HEIC and PDF support are coming soon.

Is there a file size limit?

Each image can be up to 50 MB. Because processing happens on your device, extremely large images may be limited by your browser's available memory — especially on older phones.

Are my images stored or uploaded to external servers?

Never. PixelTools processes everything locally in your browser. Your images are not uploaded, stored or seen by anyone — close the tab and they're gone.

Can I convert PNG to JPG easily?

Yes. Open the PNG to JPG tool (or use the workspace above), drop in your files, choose a quality and a background colour for transparent areas, and click Convert.

Can I compress images without losing quality?

Our compressor uses perceptual quality settings that shrink files dramatically with differences that are practically invisible. For zero loss, export to PNG — though PNG files are larger.

Can I use these tools on mobile devices?

Absolutely. Every tool is fully responsive and works in modern mobile browsers on iOS and Android, including touch-friendly cropping.

Is PixelTools free to use?

Yes — every tool is free, with no account, no watermarks added to your images and no usage limits.
